Setup guide
Prop-Firm Scalper — full setup
Install it, point it at the right chart, enter your key, size it to your account — then let it run. Read the risk section carefully.
How it runs
The Prop-Firm Scalper is a fully automated NinjaTrader strategy. Once it's on the chart and activated, it watches the market itself, places its own entries, and manages a fixed, native stop and target on every trade. You do not place or manage trades by hand.
- Runs only on NQ or MNQ (Nasdaq-100 futures). Any other market shows an error and takes no trades.
- Locked to your license key and one device. It will not run without a valid key on the machine it was activated on.
- Every parameter is fixed to the validated configuration. The only things you set are your license key and your contract size.
Before you start
You'll need:
- NinjaTrader 8 on Windows, connected to a data feed / broker (or your prop firm's Tradovate/Rithmic feed through NinjaTrader).
- A funded or evaluation account whose drawdown suits your contract size (see the risk table).
- Your add-on package (the
.zipfrom your welcome email) and your license key from your dashboard. - On a Mac? NinjaTrader is Windows-only — set up a Windows VPS or VM first with the Mac guide. A VPS is worth it for everyone: it runs the algorithm 24/5 even when your computer is off.
1 · Install the add-on
Open the importer
Select the package
Emporio-Prop-Firm-Scalper.zip you were sent. NinjaTrader imports it and confirms success.Restart NinjaTrader
2 · Apply it to an NQ or MNQ chart
Open a 1-minute chart
Add the strategy
Enable it
3 · The only two settings
Everything that defines the edge — timing, targets, stops, day rules — is locked to the tested configuration and cannot be changed. You set exactly two things:
License key
Paste the key from your dashboard. Required. It activates the algorithm and binds it to this device.
Contract size
How many contracts to trade. This is your risk dial — see the table below and match it to your account.
4 · Contract size, risk & your funded account
Contract size is the only risk control, because the stop is fixed. On NQ, one contract risks about $1,000 per trade; each extra contract adds another $1,000. On the micro (MNQ) it's one-tenth of that.
| Contract size | Risk per trade — NQ | Risk per trade — MNQ | Suggested account drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $1,000 | $100 | $1,000+ |
| 2 | $2,000 | $200 | $2,000+ |
| 3 | $3,000 | $300 | $3,000+ |
| 4 | $4,000 | $400 | $4,000+ |
| 5 | $5,000 | $500 | $5,000+ |
The rule of thumb
Buy a funded/evaluation account whose maximum drawdown matches one trade's risk at your chosen contract size. Example: a $2,000-drawdown account → trade 2 NQ (or scale down with MNQ). The design is consistency-first: bank winning days to build toward payout, accepting that a losing trade can end a given account. Size so a single loss is one account — never more than you are prepared to lose.
5 · When it trades (and the winning-day model)
- Days: Monday to Thursday only. It does not trade Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- Session: the US index-futures day. It stands down overnight (roughly 6pm–5am New York time) and never holds a position into that window.
- Frequency: it is selective — at most one position at a time, and it waits for its setup rather than trading every hour.
- Winning-day logic: once it banks a winning trade it stops for the rest of that day to lock the green day. The goal is a high hit-rate on days, building toward payout.
Because a single loss can end an account at this sizing, the intended cadence is to farm winning days toward a payout and, if and when a losing day ends that account, start fresh on a new one. That is a deliberately aggressive, high-variance approach — it is not a guarantee of profit or payout, and you can lose every account you fund. Only ever risk money you can afford to lose.
6 · Your device lock
The first time your key activates, it binds to that machine's hardware. From then on it runs only there.
- Activate on the machine you'll actually run it on — ideally a VPS that stays on 24/5, not a laptop you close.
- Use the same device every time. A key used on a different machine shows a “locked to a different device” error and will not trade.
- Need to move devices (new PC / new VPS)? Contact support to reset the binding.
- Once activated, a short internet drop is fine — it keeps running for up to 7 days offline before it needs to reach the internet again.
Errors you might see
Wrong instrument
You applied it to something other than NQ or MNQ. Remove it and add it to a 1-minute NQ or MNQ chart.
This license is locked to a different device
The key was first activated on another machine. Run it there, or contact support to reset the binding to this device.
Cannot verify license (no internet…)
The machine can't reach the internet and has no valid saved activation. Connect it once so the key can activate; after that it works offline for 7 days at a time.
Invalid license key
Check for typos, or copy it again from your dashboard. It must be the algorithm key (from an Algorithm or Bundle purchase).

No result is guaranteed. A high historical win rate does not guarantee a payout, a winning day, or the passing of any evaluation — but a consistency-first, negative-R model is designed to materially increase the odds of reaching payout versus high-R strategies. Past and back-tested performance is not indicative of future results. Read the full risk disclaimer.
